We decided to do Christmas differently and have an “upside down” Christmas. So we did Turkey kebabs on the barbie. In keeping with the Kiwis’ lukewarm acceptance of Christmas we couldn’t find Brussels sprouts anywhere. Probably not a bad thing, but they would have looked good on the skewers with the cubes of turkey. For dessert we had Christmas pudding ice-cream.
