Staycation road trip – Yorkshire Moors

From Suf- and Nor- folk, we decided to head for the Yorkshire Moors. Another area we had never been to before. We decided that the Moors should be a bit quieter than the Yorkshire Dales during the Covid staycation madness.

On the way, we stopped in the city of Lincoln, a historic walled city.

Next stop was the quaint village of Hutton-le-Hole.

Next stop was Thornton-le-Dale.

We were staying in a small village called Harome. Both of the pub-restaurants were Michelin starred. Wasted on us non-foodies.

I persuaded Michelle to get on the bikes again to cycle to the lovely market town of Helmsley.

It would have been rude not to visit the brewery
