We’re careering off on Tuesday 19 December to South East Asia for almost 3 months. We’re going via New Zealand for Christmas to visit Cameron and Eithne (that’s pronounced “Enya” – some thing to do with Gaelic – don’t ask!). Daniel is also coming with us. We’ve got an AirBnB in Wellington, North Island, and I suspect Cameron will have a few activities lined up for us including Zealandia. From there Daniel heads back to Edinburgh and we go to Hong Kong for New Year’s Eve.
Then we head to Myanmar for another G Adventures Small Group Tour.
That’s the end of the organised bit and then we’re rediscovering our youth backpacking through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Southern Thailand (we did Northern Thailand pre-kids).
We fly back from Phuket mid-March 2018.
