Tracking Tigers

We spent 2 nights by Ranthambore National Park. In the morning we took a safari by “Cantor” truck into the park to spot animals.

It drops roots from its branches and can spread over more then 8 acres.

It can move pretty quick – it doesn’t deserve the name.

And now for the highlight… Tigers!

Here we go
Heading off

We were all very happy to have seen the tiger. It was a female. We were then amazed to see another one, straight after.

Tongue hanging out

This was a large male, following the female for some reason – I wonder why? The tongue is out to pick up her scent.

We were so lucky to have seen tigers. We were even luckier to see the Sloth bear apparently, especially since it’s nocturnal. Even the guides were clearly excited and were taking photos.

Now from the animal world to the constructed world… Next stop Agra for the Taj Mahal.
