Belgian beer tasting
We took a boat trip to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 of his 27 years in prison. We saw his cell which was in the “leaders” block. The tour guide was a previous prisoner – must be a tough thing for him, but positive.

We drove round Cape Point. I always thought “Cape of Good Hope” was a strange name. I know it was dangerous for ships so a bit of hope might be useful, but why not just “Cape of Hope”? There’s not such a thing as bad hope is there?
